Convenience fees for credit card transactions (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express) are 2.30% of the total transaction or a $2.00 minimum. Debit-card fees are a flat $2.95. The Treasurer's Office payment processor, Point & Pay, processes, and collects convenience fees. Fees do not come back to Cuyahoga County in any way. There are no convenience fees for electronic checks or ACH/electronic check transactions.
